Baby massage will provide positive touch for you and your infant
With over fifteen years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit my goal is to work with you to meet your baby's needs. Our massage sessions will address positive touch and techniques to help with colic and fussy babies with guidance for developmental milestones.
My mission is to help you provide a healing touch for your baby. I want you to leave your session feeling calm and relaxed but my priority is for your infant's overall well being.

Babies know their parents before they are born. You may have felt a kick or a nudge when you spoke or sang while you were pregnant. This is thought to be your baby's first forms of communication with YOU. You will be amazed how your baby communicates with you during infant massage. It is an important part of the the fourth trimester. The trimester of bonding.
Your baby's skin is her largest organ with many touch receptors that either provide a positive or negative feeling. One form of the massage offered in this training is to move from the center of the body outward to assist with releasing tension. Another form of the massage offered helps to increase circulation. We also add reflexology and gentle movements or baby yoga. With consistent massage practice, your baby may be relieved of overall tension, discomfort, colic or gassiness, helping to improve constipation and digestion. She may show an improved ability to enjoy touch with less startle responses helping with overall development.
